Karis is about 7.5 months now, and I thought she’d be crawling by now with her rolling over so early.  She may not be crawling, but she is definitely moving.  We (including both the boys) just played in her room on the carpet for 40 minutes.  She was rolling over like crazy!  When she was on her tummy, she was turning from side to side to get a better view of her brothers or to get a toy.  She was also pushing up on her arms, pushing herself backwards, and I caught a glimpse of her getting her tummy off the ground for a split second.  She has been trying to put her legs underneath her with no avail, but it seems in the past few weeks she’s getting a little closer to getting up on her hands and knees.  I’m assuming she’ll be crawling by 9 months or so, and I’m amazed in such a short time all the gross motor skills she’ll have to accomplish between now and then!
